					<description>I am not expert of the rental industry but as far as hospitality is concerned, we have the similar symptoms in our industry. 

Hotels send their net rates to many online intermediaries; often they have no control/restrictions over the mark up that will be applied to the rates and hence the end consumer will find many different prices online and will get confused by those merchant sites and their numerous affiliates. Hotels suffer severe consequences to rate and brand integrity.  

At least I can see that in the rental industry it's not the entire sector that suffers from this problem of rate parity.</description>
